We provide additional support to our exporters

Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, in his message shared on Twitter, said, “We provide additional support to the activities of our exporters, especially in countries with high potential in global trade. The President’s Decree, which allows us to provide 5 points additional support within the scope of our target country / sector approach, was published today in the Official Gazette.”

Pekcan said, “We will also support business development activities to be carried out in the digital environment within the scope of our support for the Development of International Competition, which is most effectively used by our exporting companies, with another President Decision published today. Good luck”, Pekcan said.

5 points will be added to the additional support rates provided by the Ministry of Commerce for the activities of exporters operating in the automotive, machinery, electrical-electronics, food and chemistry sectors for the target countries determined for 2021.

The Presidential Decree on Providing Additional Support to Target Countries for Activities Carried Out in Target Sectors in State Supports for Goods Exports was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.

The support rates are applied incrementally in order to encourage the orientation of exporters to the target countries determined by the Ministry of Trade with long-term and broad participation and to increase the market share in these countries.

The “target country-target sector” approach, developed to increase the share of import from target countries, is to further support the export-oriented activities of 5 high value-added target sectors identified as automotive, machinery, electrical-electronics, food and chemistry with the “Export Master Plan”. based on vision

The USA, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, Morocco, South Africa, South Korea, India, Iraq, England, Japan, Kenya, which were determined as target countries for 2021 of exporters operating in the automotive, machinery, electrical-electronics, food and chemical sectors, The additional support rates provided by the Ministry of Commerce for the foreign fairs they participated in in Malaysia, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Russia and Chile, the sectoral trade delegations they participated in, the rent payments of the various units they opened for trade, and the costs of promotion and trademark registration will be increased by 5 points each.
